How does
the system work?
An solar photovoltaic panel charges
batteries in a battery pack with an inverter. Electrical devices can be powered
from the battery pack.
What
size electrical devices can I power with these systems?
Our smaller
system can power devices up to 300 Watts. Our larger system can power devices up
to 1500 Watts.
But
depending on weather conditions the system may not be able to power large
devices for very long. Please contact us with your specific requirements and we
will let you know if our system can meet your needs.
Can I
use these systems indoors or on cloudy days?
Yes, we
supply the battery pack fully charged (charged with 100% solar power!). So
depending up the size of the electrical load you may be able to power the
device(s) for several hours without any sunlight.
What
voltages can be used?
The battery
pack supplies connections for both 12V and 115V (standard household outlet).
What
about the sine wave?
The
inverter produces a modified sine wave. This may not be suitable for some
electronic devices.
